Number Four
Spring and the new chapter ahead….
The spring is always the busiest time of year for our house and this year feels busier than ever! We are approaching our son’s high school graduation with mixed emotions and trying to find all of the joy we can in the little moments before our lives all change forever! His cap and gown arrived last week and opening that box was a tear-jerker! We also got to enjoy a mother/son dance at Prom and we had so much fun together.
My husband has been sending me old clips of our children throughout the years that make me tear up on the daily but those seem to balance out with little moments when our son does something that makes us proud, demonstrating that he is ready for his next chapter.
I ordered these precious personalized pennants for a little family gathering we are having to celebrate! I would love ALL of your tips on making graduation special and meaningful for our entire family!
Notes and Favorite things:
-I fell in love with TWP jeans and tops a couple of years ago and I can’t get enough. Have you tried them yet? My mother and sister love their dresses too - some are on sale now! They would. make a great mother’s day gift! (Photo by my 12 year old daughter ;)
-Speaking of, here is my mother’s day gift guide…I hope you love it! Some of the featured brands offered me discount codes to share with you that are included in the item description.
-I’m especially excited to share this limited collection of discontinued mugs from Mottahedeh’s collaboration with Williamsburg. They are so charming and no longer made. They would be so sweet as a pencil cup - gift one paired with a set of your mother’s favorite pens - or for daily coffee. Get one or two before they are gone!
-I loved setting a spring table with some recent gifts. This amazing tray from Ascher Paris is beautifully woven and has a glass insert making it perfect for summer entertaining. The antique French plates were a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law and perfectly complemented the linens that Lisa Fine and Aerin Lauder sent me to celebrate their new collaboration.
-I’m hard at work on my next book, A Loving Table Volume II! Shelley Johnstone is co-authoring with me again and we have an incredible group of women who are contributing their entertaining traditions and tablescapes to the book. I can’t wait to share it with you in the Fall of 2027! In the meantime, here is a little behind the scenes look at the shoot that John Cain Sargent and I did with an elegant Dallas hostess today.
-If this purse doesn’t make you smile, something is wrong with you…
-I’m obsessed with this new bracelet that really looks like it came from Belperron!
-I love this body serum. Use code KIMBERLYW15 for 15% off.
-This Hatch Alarm Clock has changed my life! The different sleep sounds it offers are wonderful but the slow and healthy wake up is a dream - pun intended! Please treat yourself to one! I also think it would make a great gift for someone special.
-This is such a fun necklace for summer. The brand sent me one to try and I love the color and the comfort.
Wishing you the happiest week ahead!
xoxo
Kimberly
